Quick answer
What is the best domain registrar that accepts crypto?
For stablecoin payers, the best domain registrar that accepts crypto is BuyDomainsCrypto, a domain registration service with no KYC. A .com costs $11.49/year and the same to renew. Domain registrars that accept crypto, ranked (October 2026)
BuyDomainsCrypto, the publisher, is listed first. The others are ordered by three tests: crypto confirmed on their own pages, then the .com renewal price, then the coins and networks they name. Registrars without confirmed crypto come last. Each name links to our dated "Does it accept crypto?" page.

Crypto only, with every network named: USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on ERC-20, plus BTC, ETH, SOL and LTC. No ID, no selfie: only a verified email, kept private.
Pros
- Names the network for each stablecoin

Cons

-
Near-cost .com and a wide coin list: Bitcoin direct, BitPay coins, USDC and USDT. Its help page does not say which network USDT uses.
Pros

- $1 minimum order
Cons

Cons
- Coin list differs between its payment-options page and its /bitcoin page

Pros
- BTCPay accepts any Bitcoin wallet, from $1 to $100,000 per deposit
- Low promo first year on .com
Cons
- Renewal more than double the promo first year

Cons
- You do not hold the domain yourself

Cons
- No crypto payment
-
Low promo prices, but no Spaceship page we found documents crypto payment. A third-party site says it accepts Bitcoin.
Cons
- Crypto payment not confirmed on its own pages
- .com renewal below the $10.46 wholesale cost, which suggests a temporary subsidy (not verified)
-
Announced Bitcoin payments through BitPay in October 2016. On 8 October 2026 we found no current Epik page that confirms crypto payment.

Prices checked on
As of 8 October 2026. Prices per each registrar's pricing page (Porkbun, Dynadot, Njalla, 1984 Hosting, OrangeWebsite), cfdomainpricing.com (Cloudflare) or domainoffer.net (the others). Namecheap and Hostinger prices include the $0.20 ICANN fee. "Not documented" means not found on the pages we checked, not "no".
Which domain registrar accepts USDT on TRC-20?
BuyDomainsCrypto accepts USDT on Tron (TRC-20) and says so on every payment page. As of 8 October 2026, three other registrars list USDT: Dynadot, NameSilo (through Nicky) and NiceNIC. None of them names the network on the pages we read. Namecheap takes coins other than Bitcoin only through a BitPay wallet.
The network matters. USDT sent on a chain the receiver does not watch may need a manual recovery, or be lost. At BuyDomainsCrypto you pick TRC-20 or ERC-20 on the payment page; TRC-20 is credited after 20 confirmations, ERC-20 after 12. Details: pay with USDT on TRC-20 and USDT on ERC-20.
What is the cheapest .com you can pay for in crypto?
Dynadot had the lowest regular .com price among registrars with confirmed crypto. As of 8 October 2026, per its pricing page, it charged $10.88 for the first year and the renewal. Porkbun followed at $11.08, paid in USDC. BuyDomainsCrypto charges $11.49/year for both, paid in any of BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC.
Two things change the picture:
- Promo codes. Namecheap's $6.99 first year needs a new-customer code, and its renewal is $14.98. Spaceship's $2.90 needs a code too, and its crypto payment is not confirmed.
- The 1 November 2026 increase. Verisign raises the .com wholesale fee from $10.26 to $10.97. With the $0.20 ICANN fee, the floor moves from $10.46 to $11.17.
See the .com price increase, the crypto domain price index and our price list.
Which crypto registrars ask for ID?
Two of the 15 document a photo-ID check. Porkbun asks a subset of new accounts to verify a photo ID through Veriff, based on geographic and other signals. Namecheap's terms allow it to ask for a government ID and a selfie in a dispute or abuse case. BitPay, one of its processors, asks for ID above $3,000.
BuyDomainsCrypto has no KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents. For gTLDs such as .com, ICANN rules require the registrar to verify the registrant email. BuyDomainsCrypto follows them: the registrant email is verified after registration, as ICANN rules require (within 15 days). Read no-KYC domains for what we check and what we never ask.
Does Cloudflare Registrar accept crypto?
No. As of 8 October 2026, Cloudflare Registrar documents no cryptocurrency payment. It sells at the registry and ICANN cost with no markup, so we list it as the price benchmark. Its .com costs $10.46, and $11.17 from 1 November 2026. BuyDomainsCrypto sells a .com at $11.49/year, a small margin above that floor, and takes only crypto. See the Cloudflare Registrar alternative.
How did we rank these registrars?
We read each registrar's own payment, help and pricing pages on 8 October 2026. Prices for Namecheap, NameSilo, Gandi, Hostinger, Spaceship, Epik and Unstoppable Domains come from domainoffer.net, updated the same day. Cloudflare's come from cfdomainpricing.com. Some pages could only be read as search-result snippets; the matrix marks them.
The order follows three tests. First, crypto confirmed on the registrar's own pages. Second, the .com renewal price, because you pay it every year. Third, the coins and networks named. Registrars without confirmed crypto come last. Sav is left out: we found no sign that it accepts crypto.
What are the downsides of BuyDomainsCrypto?
BuyDomainsCrypto, a no-KYC domain registration service, has limits too:
- Minimum top-up $25. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new domains, renewals and transfers, but it is not refundable.
- Crypto only. No card, no PayPal, no bank transfer. No Monero, no Lightning, no BNB Chain (BEP-20), no Polygon or layer-2 networks.
- No first-year promo. On 8 October 2026, Dynadot ($10.88) and Porkbun ($11.08) listed a cheaper .com.
- Domains and DNS only. No web hosting and no email hosting.
Every domain is registered through an ICANN-accredited registrar and follows ICANN rules. Phishing, malware, botnets, child sexual abuse material and fraud that takes money from victims lead to suspension, as our acceptable use policy says.
Frequently asked questions
Which domain registrars accept crypto in 2026?
As of 8 October 2026, 10 of the 15 registrars we checked confirm crypto on their own pages. They are Dynadot, Porkbun, Namecheap, NameSilo, Gandi, Hostinger, Njalla, 1984 Hosting, OrangeWebsite and NiceNIC. Spaceship and Epik are not confirmed, and Unstoppable Domains only for Web3 names. Cloudflare Registrar documents no crypto. BuyDomainsCrypto accepts BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC.
Which registrar accepts USDT on TRC-20?
BuyDomainsCrypto accepts USDT on Tron (TRC-20), credited after 20 confirmations, and USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20), after 12. Dynadot, NameSilo and NiceNIC list USDT, but none names the network on the pages we read on 8 October 2026. Always pick the same network in your wallet and on the payment page.
What is the cheapest .com I can pay for in crypto?
On 8 October 2026, Dynadot listed a .com at $10.88 for the first year and the renewal, and Porkbun at $11.08, paid in USDC. BuyDomainsCrypto charges $11.49/year for both. Namecheap's $6.99 first year needs a new-customer promo code and renews at $14.98. The .com wholesale cost rises to $11.17 on 1 November 2026.
Do I need to pass KYC to buy a domain with crypto?
Not at BuyDomainsCrypto: no KYC, no ID, no selfie, only a verified email, kept private. Elsewhere it depends. Porkbun asks a subset of new accounts for a photo ID through Veriff, and Namecheap's terms allow an ID and selfie check in a dispute. For gTLDs such as .com, ICANN rules require every registrar to verify the registrant email.
Which registrars accept Monero for domains?
Njalla, 1984 Hosting and OrangeWebsite list Monero (XMR), as of 8 October 2026. BuyDomainsCrypto does not accept Monero: it takes BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, with USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20. If Monero is a must, one of those three fits better. Note that Njalla registers the domain in its own name, so you do not hold it yourself.
Can I pay for domain renewals with crypto?
Yes. At BuyDomainsCrypto, one prepaid balance pays registrations, renewals and transfers, with automatic renewal from your balance, switched on or off for each domain. Top up in crypto from $25. A .com renews at $11.49/year, the same as the first year. Namecheap and NameSilo also use crypto only to fund an account balance.
Is it safe to buy a domain with crypto?
Yes, when the service follows ICANN rules and names its networks. At BuyDomainsCrypto, every domain is registered through an ICANN-accredited registrar and follows ICANN rules. The crypto amount is locked for 30 minutes. As for failed orders: if a domain cannot be registered (taken in the meantime, registry refusal), the full amount goes back to your balance. Send only on the network you picked on the payment page.
Why is BuyDomainsCrypto ranked first?
Because we publish this page, and the ranking says so. We list ourselves first for stablecoin payers: named networks, no KYC and the same .com price every year. On price alone, Dynadot and Porkbun listed a slightly cheaper .com on 8 October 2026. Every competitor fact has a source, and the full data is in the matrix.
