Terms of Service

The rules for registering, renewing and transferring domains with BuyDomainsCrypto, in plain English. No KYC, crypto only, prepaid balance.

Quick answer

What do the BuyDomainsCrypto Terms of Service say, in short?

BuyDomainsCrypto, a no-KYC domain registration service paid in crypto, registers domains on prepaid terms. You top up a balance in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC (minimum $25) and pay registrations, renewals and transfers from it. Unused balance never expires and is not refundable. Registry and ICANN rules apply to every domain, including email verification and the UDRP. No takedown on a complaint alone; phishing, malware, botnets, CSAM and fraud against victims lead to suspension without refund.

1. Who provides the service, and what do these Terms cover?

These Terms of Service are a contract between you and DomaineGoat LLC, which operates BuyDomainsCrypto. "We" and "us" mean DomaineGoat LLC. "You" means the holder of a BuyDomainsCrypto account.

The Terms cover the website buydomainscrypto.com and its client area. By creating an account, topping up your balance or ordering a domain, you accept these Terms. Three documents form part of them:

You must be legally able to enter a contract where you live. If you act for a company, you confirm that you may bind it.

2. What does BuyDomainsCrypto provide?

BuyDomainsCrypto is a domain registration service. Every domain is registered through an ICANN-accredited registrar and follows ICANN rules. We provide:

  • Search and registration of domains in 55 extensions, listed on the pricing page.
  • Renewals and transfers, paid from your balance.
  • DNS: free DNS hosting with A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and CAA records, or your own nameservers (2 to 13).
  • Domain settings: transfer lock, transfer (auth or EPP) code, auto-renew and WHOIS privacy, each switched on or off per domain.

We do not provide web hosting, email hosting or a reseller API. A domain gives you the right to use a name for the registration period, under the rules of its registry and of ICANN.

3. How does my account work?

Your account is identified by an account number. We collect one email per domain, nothing else. Keep your login details private: you are responsible for everything done with your account.

We never ask for your password, your account number or your domain transfer (EPP) codes by email or chat. If anyone asks for them in our name, it is not us. Forward the message to [email protected].

Opening a new account to carry on after a suspension for abuse is a breach of these Terms.

4. What does no KYC mean in these Terms?

We never ask for an ID document, a selfie, proof of address or company papers, at any spend level. This is part of these Terms.

No KYC does not mean we hold nothing: we hold one email per domain, because ICANN rules require a verified contact for every domain, and the registrant email is verified after registration, as ICANN rules require (within 15 days). Nothing else is collected. A domain whose email is never confirmed can be suspended under ICANN rules.

We enforce our rules through the Acceptable Use Policy and our abuse process, not through identity documents.

5. How are prices set and charged?

Prices are per year, in US dollars, and listed on the pricing page and in pricing.json. Each extension shows a first-year price, a renewal price and a transfer price. For example, a .com costs $11.49/year the first year and $11.49/year to renew.

  • The price that applies is the one shown when you place the order. A later change never applies to an order you have already paid.
  • Renewals are charged at the renewal price shown when the renewal is made.
  • Registry price changes can change our prices. For example, the .com registry fee rises on 1 November 2026. Every change to our prices is dated in the changelog.
  • Minimum terms set by a registry apply. A .ai domain is sold 2 years at a time; a .co can be registered for 5 years at most.

6. How do the prepaid balance and crypto payments work?

You pay from a prepaid balance in US dollars, topped up in crypto. The minimum top-up is $25. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new domains, renewals and transfers, but it is not refundable. One balance pays registrations, renewals and transfers.

We accept crypto only, on the networks in the table below. A top-up is credited after the number of network confirmations shown.

Accepted coins and networks

CoinNetworkConfirmations before credit
BTCBitcoin2
USDTTron (TRC-20)20
USDTEthereum (ERC-20)12
USDCEthereum (ERC-20)12
ETHEthereum12
SOLSolana1
LTCLitecoin6

How a top-up works:

  • Exact network. Send the coin on the network shown on the payment page. Funds sent on another network, such as BNB Chain, Polygon or a layer-2 network, may be lost.
  • Exact amount. Send the amount shown, to the last decimal. It is how your payment is matched.
  • Rate lock. The exchange rate is locked for 30 minutes. If the time runs out before you send, start a new top-up.
  • Network fee. You pay the network fee of your own transaction.
  • No reversal. A crypto payment cannot be reversed by the sender. Check the coin, the network, the address and the amount before you send.

We do not accept Monero, Bitcoin Lightning, cards, PayPal or bank transfers. Deposit addresses are shown only on the payment page of the client area, never by email. Payment problems: write to support with the coin, the network, the exact amount and the time, as set out in the refunds policy.

7. How does registration work?

Domains are registered on a first-come, first-served basis. Until the registry confirms the registration, someone else can register the same name.

  • Availability. The search checks availability live through the registry's RDAP service. For some extensions, such as .io, .co and .me, availability is confirmed at order.
  • Order status. An order moves from Awaiting payment to Verifying (payment checked on the blockchain), then Processing (registration) and Active.
  • Timing. Registration happens usually within minutes of the top-up being credited; a few extensions take a few hours.
  • Failed registration. Failed orders are covered: if a domain cannot be registered (taken in the meantime, registry refusal), the full amount goes back to your balance.

A registry can refuse a name, or delete it later, if its own rules are not met.

8. Which registry and ICANN rules apply to my domain?

Every domain is subject to the rules of its registry and, for generic extensions, of ICANN. By registering a domain, you accept:

  • ICANN's Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities, which summarise your rights and duties as a registrant.
  • The Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP), under which a trademark owner can claim a domain registered and used in bad faith.
  • The ICANN Transfer Policy, which governs transfers between registrars and changes of registrant.
  • ICANN's Registration Data Policy, which sets what registration data is collected and what is published.
  • The policy of each registry, which can add rules. For example, .ai is sold 2 years at a time, and .app, .dev and .page require HTTPS. We do not sell extensions whose registry requires more than an email.

The rules of each extension are on its extension page. Where these rules conflict with our Terms, the registry and ICANN rules prevail.

9. What are my obligations as a registrant?

You must:

  • give a working email for each domain, keep it up to date and confirm it when asked;
  • follow the Acceptable Use Policy and the law that applies to you;
  • not register a name that infringes the rights of others, such as a trademark, in bad faith.

You are responsible for the content and services you run on your domains. A domain whose email is fake or never confirmed can be suspended under ICANN rules.

10. How do renewals and expiry work?

Renewals are paid from your balance: automatic renewal from your balance, switched on or off for each domain. If auto-renew is on and your balance covers the renewal price, the domain is renewed before it expires. If the balance is too low, the domain is not renewed.

Keep enough balance, or renew by hand before the expiry date. After expiry, the time during which a domain can still be renewed or restored, and its cost, depend on the registry. Contact support at once if a domain has expired. A domain that is deleted by the registry can be registered by anyone.

11. How do transfers work?

Transfer in. To move a domain to us, order the transfer and enter its auth (EPP) code in the client area. The transfer price is paid from your balance. The current registrar and the registry must release the domain.

Transfer out. To leave, turn the transfer lock off and request the transfer code: free, requested from the client area. Then start the transfer at the new registrar.

The ICANN Transfer Policy and the registry's rules apply to both. They set periods during which a transfer is not possible, for example soon after a registration or a previous transfer. A domain under a UDRP proceeding is locked and cannot be transferred. Guide: transfer a domain and pay in crypto.

12. What does WHOIS privacy cover?

WHOIS privacy is free on every extension we sell. It hides your email from public WHOIS and RDAP results.

  • Extensions where the registry keeps or publishes the holder's name and address are sold registered in our name only (section 13); extensions where privacy is forbidden are not sold.
  • Privacy does not hide your data from the registrar, the registry or ICANN. In a UDRP case, the registrant details are confirmed to the dispute provider. Otherwise, your data only goes out on a Panamanian court order, except urgent requests that ICANN rules require registrars to answer.

You can switch privacy on or off per domain. Details: WHOIS privacy and our Privacy Policy.

13. What does “Registered in our name” mean?

Registered in our name is an optional proxy registration, at +$90 a year per domain, on top of the extension price.

  • Registrant of record. DomaineGoat LLC is the registrant of record. The registry and WHOIS/RDAP show DomaineGoat LLC, never you. We send the registry no data about you.
  • Beneficial owner. You are the beneficial owner of the domain. We commit to:
  • give you full control of the domain: DNS records, nameservers, renewals and redirections;
  • give you the transfer (EPP) code, free, at any time, to move the domain to another registrar;
  • put the domain in your own name on simple request, free of charge. The domain then becomes a standard registration and the option stops. For an extension sold registered in our name only, we cannot register it in your name, because its registry needs more than one email: we give you the transfer code, free, so that you can move it to a registrar that collects those details.
  • What we keep. One email per domain, verified and never published, to reach you.
  • Same rules. Our policy is the same for every domain: no takedown on a complaint alone, data only on a Panamanian court order except urgent requests that ICANN rules require registrars to answer, and suspension for phishing, malware, botnets, child sexual abuse material and fraud that takes money from victims. This option does not change it.
  • UDRP. A trademark complaint is made against the registrant of record, DomaineGoat LLC. We tell you so that you can defend the domain, and we apply the panel's decision.
  • Extensions. Only extensions where a company registered in Panama can be the registrant, listed on the Registered in our name page.

14. How are DNS and domain changes applied?

You request changes in the client area. Our team applies each change and gives it a reference number. You can change:

  • nameservers: ours, or 2 to 13 of your own;
  • DNS records: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and CAA;
  • the transfer lock and the transfer code;
  • auto-renew and WHOIS privacy.

You are responsible for the records you set. A wrong record can take your website or email offline. Keep the reference number when you write to support about a change.

15. When can a domain or an account be suspended?

We can suspend a domain, lock it or close an account when:

  • the domain is used for phishing, malware, botnets, child sexual abuse material, or fraud that takes money from victims (fake shops, investment and crypto scams, wallet drainers, impersonation of a bank or brand): these strict exceptions are acted on with a well-documented report, without waiting for a court;
  • the registrant email is not confirmed as ICANN rules require;
  • registrant data is knowingly false;
  • a decision from a Panamanian court (foreign judgments must first be recognised in Panama), a UDRP decision, a registry or ICANN requires it.

No takedown on a complaint alone. A complaint about copyright, defamation, politics, or one from a competitor, does not suspend a domain: a decision from a Panamanian court is needed, and foreign judgments must first be recognised in Panama. Trademark disputes follow the UDRP.

We act on phishing, malware, botnets and fraud against victims within 24 hours of a well-documented report. Child sexual abuse material is handled immediately, with a report to the competent hotline or authority. A suspension for abuse carries no refund. Our process is on the abuse page.

16. What is the refund policy?

Registered, renewed and transferred domains are not refundable, because the registry fee is paid at once. Failed orders are covered: if a domain cannot be registered (taken in the meantime, registry refusal), the full amount goes back to your balance. Unused balance never expires and is not refundable. Full rules: refunds and balance.

17. What is BuyDomainsCrypto liable for?

We provide the service with reasonable care, but some events are outside our control. We are not liable for:

  • outages or decisions of a registry, ICANN or a third-party network;
  • a name registered by someone else before your order completes;
  • funds sent on the wrong network, to a wrong address or in a wrong amount;
  • losses caused by DNS records or nameservers you set;
  • a domain lost because it was not renewed in time;
  • losses caused by someone using your login details.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the domain or service concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

18. Can these Terms change?

Yes. When we change these Terms, the new version shows its update date at the top of this page. The change is also listed in the changelog. The new version applies from that date. Orders already paid keep their price. If you do not accept a change, you can transfer your domains out with their transfer code.

19. How do I contact BuyDomainsCrypto?
