Does Dynadot accept USDT?
Yes. As of 8 October 2026, Dynadot's crypto help page lists USDT, USDC and Bitcoin paid directly (read as a search snippet). It also lists BitPay for BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC, DOGE and others. The page does not say which network USDT or USDC must be sent on. Dynadot announced its expanded crypto payments in March 2024; an older page also mentions Coinbase Commerce. Our dated answer: Does Dynadot accept crypto?
Why does the USDT network matter?
Because USDT exists on several blockchains, and the sender must use the one the receiver watches. TRC-20 (Tron) and ERC-20 (Ethereum) are common choices; BNB Chain, Polygon and others carry USDT too. A payment sent on the wrong chain may need a manual recovery, or be lost.
BuyDomainsCrypto names the network on every payment page: USDT on TRC-20, credited after 20 confirmations, or on ERC-20, after 12. The amount is locked for 30 minutes. A TRC-20 transfer uses Tron energy and bandwidth, paid in TRX; an ERC-20 transfer pays Ethereum gas. See pay with USDT on TRC-20 and USDT on ERC-20.

Why do people look for a Dynadot alternative?
Not for the price: Dynadot sells close to the wholesale cost. People look elsewhere for the payment details:
- The USDT network is not stated on its help page, as of 8 October 2026.
- SOL is not named among its accepted coins.
- Refunds are account credit only for crypto payments.
BuyDomainsCrypto, a no-KYC domain registration service, states every network before you send and also takes SOL, the cheapest coin to send for a small top-up. See pay with Solana.
Is Dynadot cheaper than BuyDomainsCrypto?
On .com, yes, as of 8 October 2026: $10.88 against our $11.49/year. Its first-year promos on .io, .co and .xyz are lower too. On renewals, BuyDomainsCrypto is lower or level on the other 8 extensions in the table above, from .net to .dev.
One date matters. From 1 November 2026, the wholesale cost of a .com is $11.17, above the $10.88 Dynadot listed on 8 October. Check Dynadot's price after that date. Our .com price is already set above the new floor. More: .com price increase.
When is Dynadot still the better choice?
- You want the lowest .com today and pay in a coin Dynadot lists.
- You want to start small: Dynadot's minimum order is $1, against our $25 minimum top-up.
- You pay in BCH or DOGE through BitPay. We do not accept them.
- You want a cheap first year on .io, .co or .xyz.
Choose BuyDomainsCrypto when you want the network stated before you send USDT or USDC, or want to pay in SOL. One balance also pays for many names: see bulk domain registration with crypto.

The minimum top-up is $25, against a $1 minimum order at Dynadot. It is a balance, not a single order: the amount stays on your account, never expires, and pays registrations, renewals and transfers. A .com costs $11.49/year. The balance is not refundable.
